Hello World.
Take a deep breath firstly. (No, seriously do it. I'm waiting.)
I'd like to begin my 'première réflexion' with a beautiful quote which I came across in a teenage anime show I was binge-watching on Netflix.
'homme est condamné à être libre.' (Man is condemned to be free.)
Jean Paul-Sarte.
Nutcase. What a beautiful way to describe oneself. Ask yourselves, when was the last time you did something nutcase-worthy? When was the last time you had a peek on your bucket list (if you don't have one then why do you exist? Have an aim in your life jeez =_=) and went like,' Let's cross some of these out!' Did you learn a new skill? Did you meet that potential special someone?;) (of course online, socially distance yourselves darlings!) One of the newly added things on my bucket list was writing a blog(which was placed exactly below licking glow in dark paint.)
I did do things but most of them didn't add any value to me which would benefit me in a professional field. I don't think watching individuals struggling to make the perfect Maggi under 2 minutes at 3 in the morning adds any value or studying with tons of distraction is value added either. Well, I don't want you to get the wrong idea, I do study and I began exercising (of course, this is an on and off habit, because since when do you expect anyone to be disciplined in this pandemic?:)). I'm definitely fitter and leaner and healthier(hopefully) and I can solve 1 color of a 3x3 of a Rubik's cube.
Now how many of you can brag about that huh?
I'm definitely a dilettante ( for little layman cuties reading this- dilettante means a person who's basically a rookie in many fields. Not an expert in 1 or few fields, but this usually is attributed to people with an amateur interests in things.) I initiated interest in coding ( Yeah, you're not the only one who's seeing those advertisements everywhere and know a kid younger than you who can code), working out, becoming fitter, learning about the trades and stock market( No, I'm not a business student. I'm a pre-medical student and will be continue to be one for two years hopefully.), Online streaming ( This ideally shouldn't be here since once upon a time I would loathe Netflix and it's viewers saying that they're spoiling our youth.) and my favorite, understanding how well planned intellectually and aesthetically appealing situations or imaginations can help stimulate our minds to derive a higher sense of pleasure.( Yes, I know this came out of no where.) Basically I've been reading and knowing about everything except my education related syllabi. ( Alexa, play Another Brick in the Wall by Pink Floyd )
Also the way I discover new things is definitely something which, is nutcase certified.
Don't understand what I'm trying to mean by saying how I explore things? Don't worry, unlike the examples they give you in the class to understand concepts you don't even know or never heard of because you were not paying attention in class, this one will drill right into your head, and probably scare you a bit.
Last month I discovered a beautiful piano piece 'Moonlight Sonata' through a Creepypasta site. I mean I was searching for a legend I had heard of, which made me click on a link of another legend, which made me read about the character's backstory and made me search if such a person really existed( I mean, its Creepypasta after all.) since the character was involved in international events. I did find a similar name with the similar history.( No, I'm not here to discuss the story. Stay focused!) I went to that person's bio-data and saw that the person performed on a song 'Moonlight Sonata' and wow, I must say instrumental music is indeed beautiful. Be it the harsh drumming of a rock band or the calming piano music, learning to appreciate the nuances (for little layman cuties reading this- Nuances means appealingly complex qualities, aspects, or distinctions ) is an art in itself.
This 'click-know more-click' thing which I had begun to display somehow made me learn something unique every time I did it. No, just like the world isn't all sunshine and about cookies and hot yummy smelling chocolate ( I know you just imagined how the chocolate smells like) the results and the information which I would come across were sometimes disturbing and things which I could've gone on without knowing but hey, that doesn't mean you stop learning at all. Its like Little Billy is at home since he's scared that the world is such a bad place. Grow up Little Billy. But, its pandemic season so Little Billy must stay home.
Anyway since my education always taught me that writing superior English which no one understands and quotes which no one has ever heard of, fetches you more marks in the creative writing section, here's one to end it for this day.-
" If you can dream it, you can surely achieve it! "
(I've been writing this on my whiteboard whenever I study. Its a saying which helps me get through whenever I want to give up. Also, I will assume you're a normal human being and not a worse nutcase than me so go ahead and live by this quote!)
By this time you must be confused what this blog was supposed to be all about. This is just a small peek into my brain, a Web browsing page with tons of tabs loading and closing at the same time, either overloading to a point of exhaustion, or staying unnecessarily idle which makes it gather dust. I didn't come with a set agenda as to what I should write about. My next blog might be something related to one of the weird things I blabbered here, I'm not really sure but it'll be much more constructive and thoughtful than this one. Then again, that's a nutcase for you my darlings.
Note- By the way, I absolutely hate error or lack of flair in my writings so if you do come across a 'petty' spelling error, poor choice of words, a misspelt word or a wrongly placed period or a comma, do let me know as I would highly appreciate it! If you have suggestions on how I could do better, keep them to yourself because this wouldn't be a nutcase's musing then, would it?
Until next time and further on my darlings, be nutcase-worthy.
Yours,
The Scintillating Nutcase.
"Nutcase. What a beautiful way to describe onself" I wouldn't be so sure lmao. You are a nutcase tho, there's no denying that. And I ABSOLUTELY loved this post. Keep going!!!
